चिन्मय मिशन के संन्यासियों का विवरण अंग्रेजी भाषा में...
Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji was amazingly great. He helped a large number of his devotees to discover their greatness also. He kindled their life. His was the Midas touch that brought the divinity in everybody into expression. The art of man making came out alive at his hands. He was truly the fire from which there arose countless sparks.
His students are the sparks. Some of them were initiated into the monastic order and some remained or became householders. Gems of men and women can be found in both the monastic and householder camps. They shine brightly reflecting the glory of their master. Many of them teach the scriptures through their classes and many others through their selfless work.
This booklet covers those of Pujya Gurudev's disciples who received the sannyasa diksha. They embraced the fourth station of their life (turiya asrama) which is extremely challenging indeed : The master recognized in them a special potential for spiritual work : for their own unfoldment and for the good of the society (atmano moksaya, jagad-hitaya ca). More than seventy of them are listed here and basic information about them along with a picture is supplied. A section covers those swamis who attained samadhi also.
Hopefully a booklet similar to this will be made in future covering the other important disciples or workers of this great Mission of ours.
Such a booklet serves many purposes. It is a record, in the first place, that quenches the thirst of people who want to know all this. Secondly, it inspires, seekers to turn towards God through the examples of these sadhus. Thirdly, it helps Mission members of even the present time to know more clearly who our leading Acharyas are in this organization which has spread its wings across the globe and has reached many nooks and corners of the world.
I compliment Swami Chidananda and Smt. Rukmani Ramani for this compilation by them. They and the Thomson Press deserve appreciation for the good looks of this publication. May all find this work useful and inspiring,
- Tejomayananda
