Love story of Mugal Prince Darashikoh´s Guru Pandit Jagannath.

Samudra Sangam - A Hindi Book by - Bhola Shanker Vyaas ?????? ???? - ???? ???? ????? Autobiographical novel on the life of Mughal prince Dara Shikoh's guru Pundit Jagannath. Shahjahan's regime was the best period of rule for Mughals in India. But it was also the time of conflict between Hindu and Muslim cultures. Two differing faiths and differing philosophies, cultural and social values who were at odds which each and their journey towards that elusive harmony for decades is the subject of this work. Contemporary figures such as Kavindracharya Saraswati, Sant Mulla Shah, Baba Lal Dayal, Sarmad, Dara, Jahanara and Punditraj tried their level best to harmonize the society, but it did not succeed to the level they would have really wanted it to be. This story is just the tip of iceberg, a beginning of this vast story of that time. Since this story is story of mixing of not only Hindu and Muslim cultures, but some other world views as well, hence the name "Samudra Sangam" which means meeting point of oceans. The union of individual with the society, union of two cultures and many other stream of cultures.

The prose style of Sanskrit used in this text clearly identifies the penmanship of Punditraj. Punditraj has used political, philosophical, literary, musical and artisan courtship etc with eminent personalities to portray the environment and players.
